Jeffrey D. Fitzgerald

Jeffrey’s primary areas of practice include labour law, employment law and human rights law.  Prior to joining Neuman Thompson, Jeffrey was in-house council with the City of Edmonton Law Department for over 10 years.  During that time he represented employer interests at arbitration hearings, before the Alberta Labour Relations Board, the Alberta Human Rights Commission and in the Alberta Courts. 

Early in his career, Jeffrey practiced in the area of insurance defence litigation gaining valuable litigation based experience in a wide range of matters, including representing his clients in Court proceedings, questionings, mediations and Judicial Dispute Resolution.

Professional and Community Contributions

Jeffrey has volunteered to provide pro bono legal services to non-profit organizations and has also devoted time coaching and supporting minor hockey in the past several years.
