Dwayne frequently represents or supports employers in high-risk high-reward negotiations, designs strategic reorganizations with a view to providing employers with more favorable labour relations outcomes and platforms, and assists employers during certification efforts.

Dwayne provides in-house management training, strategic advice, and representation for public and private clients.

Dwayne represents a range of clients in the private sector, including the natural resource, transportation, communication, and food processing industries. He also has experience in providing legal services to governments at the municipal and provincial level and to a wide range of Crown and public agencies in healthcare, gaming, Crown-owned banking and educational institutions.

Dwayne has chaired public consultations and provided advice to Government Ministries in regards to Market Enhancement Recovery Funds (MERFs), Competitive Construction Initiatives and the Education Sector.

Dwayne is also a contributor to Principles of Administrative Law (Jones and deVillars), 2nd through 5th Editions, and is published in the Labour Arbitration Yearbook (Carswell).

Dwayne is a guest lecturer at the University of Alberta in topics including collective bargaining, negotiations, labour law, and human rights law.
